I absolutely love when I get the chance to capture special life events for family members. My brother got married last spring and I was honored when he asked me to be their photographer. Isaac and Bri chose to have Ogden Botanical Gardens formals. It was the middle of April and we were limited on locations that were green and didn’t look too dead. This was one of my first sessions after having my second baby, and it was the best feeling to get back to doing what I love. We started the session with a first look which is one of my favorite moments to photograph. Isaac hadn’t seen Bri in her wedding dress yet and it was so special. We were able to get a lot of different shots without walking too far. They both looked amazing and I’m so happy for them!
The Ogden Botanical Gardens is a beautiful location that is often overlooked. It is unbeatable in the spring because there is so much greenery and flowers. The trails make you feel like you are deep in nature, but it’s only a few steps from the parking lot. You also get views of the mountains without having to travel far. Having an unobstructed sunset makes for the most glowy, golden light. April and May are the best times to take pictures at the botanical gardens.
I also love photographing families at the Ogden Botanical Gardens because there is so much variety in the different backdrops, but it’s easily accessible for small children. If you love the idea of having family or wedding photos taken at a beautiful, green location this spring, the Ogden Botanical Gardens is the way to go! I would love to photograph you and your loved ones at this stunning Ogden location. You can read more about family sessions here.
