Ogden Botanical Gardens Engagements

I was so excited when Mason’s mom reached out to me about photographing Mason and Olivia’s wedding! They wanted their engagements taken at the Ogden Botanical Gardens and I’m so glad they did! We couldn’t have picked a more perfect day. The blossoms and tulips were in full bloom!

Liv and Mason met while they were both serving missions in Manchester, New Hampshire. They started dating after they got home and quickly fell in love! They drove down from Rexburg for this session and totally rocked it. The weather was questionable throughout the day and I was nervous that it would be too rainy. However, everything cleared up and we even had some golden hour sun! I threw a lot of different prompts at them and they were so fun and energetic! Their chemistry was palpable and I’m so happy for them. I can’t wait to photograph their formals in a week!

The Ogden Botanical Gardens is a very underrated Northern Utah location. In March and April, it is so green and lush with beautiful views of the mountains. The Ogden River Parkway trail even runs alongside it. I also love how easily accessible it is from the parking lot.
