This Bountiful Temple Wedding was absolutely beautiful! Paige and Anthony were sealed on a very windy day, but we were still able to get some gorgeous shots. When I arrived on the temple grounds, I was immediately stressed about the strong winds. There was another wedding party trying to get photos done, and they could barely stand up straight.
The one thing I had on my side was the lighting. It was an overcast morning which meant I didn’t have to worry about harsh sunlight. I walked around the grounds to try to find the least windy spot. It was still very windy when the bride and groom exited the temple. We spent about 30 minutes getting family photos before letting everyone go. The moment I started taking Paige and Anthony’s portraits, the wind completely stopped. I was so grateful, and these ended up being some of my favorite temple portraits.
The Bountiful Temple is one of my favorite temples to shoot at. It is so timeless and unique. The arches and gold doors make for the prettiest backdrop. It is located up in the hills of Bountiful, Utah and overlooks the Salt Lake Valley. It is one of the most widely visible temples in Northern Utah because of where it sits on the hill. One of my favorite things about photographing a Bountiful Temple Wedding is that you can get full views of the temple from 3 sides, which is great for versatility and delivering a unique gallery. This is the third wedding I’ve been lucky enough to photograph there this year and each one looked different. If you’re considering a Bountiful Temple Wedding, I hope I have convinced you.
