Emma and Payton reached out to me about photographing their sealing at the Bountiful Temple on their first anniversary. They also wanted to do a formal session near Bountiful the morning of their sealing. I knew Tunnel Springs Park would be the perfect location, especially in the morning. We had just the perfect amount of light cloud coverage, and there wasn’t another soul at this normally busy location.
Tunnel Springs Park is a location in North Salt Lake. There’s an actual park with a playground and a grassy soccer field. If you drive past that to the dirt parking lot, it opens up to rolling hills and acres of tall grass. In the spring and early summer, the grassy hills are green. In the late summer and fall they are golden. There is also a patch of tall pampas grass and a wooden fence. It’s one of Northern Utah’s most popular locations for good reason. It gets very busy in the evenings due to the unobstructed sunsets. However, it is so vast that there is plenty of room to spread out.
If you are getting married and looking for a photographer with bright, warm, true-to-color images, you’ve come to the right place. You can find more information on my wedding services here.
