As a Northern Utah Photographer, I travel frequently between Ogden and Utah County. I scheduled a newborn session on Labor Day and stopped at the Village Baker on my way to grab a quick lunch to-go. After ordering, the lunch crowd starting filtering in. I noted this as I didn’t have a lot of time and knew that my order would be called first. I sat down on a bench next to a girl who looked to be about my age. We didn’t say anything to each other at first but both jumped up when “Grace” was called. As we approached the counter we realized they said “Chris” and we sat back down. We laughed and she asked “is your name Grace too?”
We got talking about our holiday plans and I told her I was working that day. She mentioned that her husband’s family has been looking for a photographer to take some extended family pictures. We followed each other on Instagram right then and I didn’t think anything would come of it. She reached out not long after and we scheduled their session!
Grace’s Mother-In-Law chose to do the session at Murray Park. Because I had never been there I made sure to arrive early and scout it out. It was late fall, so I was worried about everything looking dead. However, the grass was still very green and the leaves had so much color. We were lucky to have beautiful light and I’m so happy with how the photos turned out. Grace and her husband also utilized this session to announce their second pregnancy. I’m so excited for them!
I know you have many choices for a Northern Utah Photographer. That is why I have worked hard to create an experience that is unique and elevated. I come prepared to all of my sessions and make sure to deliver high-quality photos that you’ll love.
