Alicia and Henry found me online and wanted to do their maternity photos in a studio, which was a great idea during the winter. We decided on The Loft Studio in Lehi. It’s always a little nerve wracking to shoot somewhere for the first time, but I loved this studio. It’s so big, bright, and had great props and backdrops. As a Utah County Maternity Photographer, I love finding new places to shoot.
If you’ve never been to a studio before, here are a few reasons you might want to book your session at one:
Studio sessions are great for lots of different sessions, including newborn sessions, maternity, couple, portraits, small families, etc. I usually shoot at natural-light studios. This just means that I rely on light coming through the windows rather than using an artificial lighting setup. My studio session pricing includes the booking fee which I will handle.
I have heard from many moms (myself included) who haven’t had maternity photos taken but regret it later on. Pregnancy is hard, and feeling photo-ready feels nearly impossible towards the end. However, I’m a firm believer that every stage of life is worth capturing. I wish I had more pictures from each of my pregnancies, and my hope is to make that feel easier and more achievable for other moms. If you book a maternity session with me, I promise that I will make it feel as easy and enjoyable as possible. If you’re looking for a Utah County Maternity Photographer, I’d love to chat.
