Your wedding day is one of the most exciting days of your life. I know that it can also be a bit chaotic. As a wedding photographer, I like to prep my couples beforehand by sending them a comprehensive welcome guide. One of the things I include in that guide is a Wedding Day Flat Lay Checklist. This includes all of the items you might want photographed together (ideally before you need to use them). One of the first things I do when I show up to a wedding day is collect these items from my bride and groom and photograph them while they are starting to get ready. That way we’re not scrambling to get them together later on.
The thing about wedding days is that there are so many moments that couples want captured. However, if there is not a plan in place, many desired shots get pushed aside. I think every bride and groom should remember even the most simple details of their day, which is why I am giving this checklist to you here. This Wedding Day Flat Lay Checklist will help you to prioritize those beautiful detail shots that you’re going to look at for years to come:

I hope this Wedding Day Flat Lay Checklist was helpful, and that it encourages you to prioritize the parts of your day that you want remembered. Your wedding photographer should be cheering you on and helping you prepare every step of the way. It is so important to me that my couples feel supported and excited for their perfect day.
