The first time I met Derek and Lindsay was when I hopped in their car to head into their Antelope Island Bridals. I knew instantly that we would hit it off. They were so warm and sweet. We had perfect weather and lighting for their bridals which was the first time I’ve been able to say that this year!
If you live in Northern Utah, you may be familiar with Antelope Island. It is a beautiful, beachy location, but is really only ideal to shoot at for two months out of the year (March and October). Between those months, the biting gnats and spiders completely take over. We were able to time these Antelope Island Bridals just right to still get some warmth before the bugs start swarming.
I have shot at Antelope Island many times over the years, but always try to make each session unique. Derek and Lindsay wanted to go down to the beach which I had never done before. Near the end of their session we hiked down the rocks (Lindsay in her dress and heels) and got the most gorgeous photos down by the water. I’m so glad they were willing to go adventuring with me because it was worth it for these beautiful shots.
