When I tell people that I’m a photographer, they often mention how saturated the Utah photography market is. There are SO many photographers in Northern Utah which can make it challenging to stand out. We are lucky to live in one of the most gorgeous states in the western US. It’s no wonder so many people want to capture its beauty!

My Style

When I started my business, I realized quickly that I had to figure out what made me unique and what I needed to improve that would set me apart from other photographers in Northern Utah. One of the main elements that draw people to my photos is my style of shooting and editing. I love warm, light photos with creamy colors. I am very picky about skin tones and make sure to only shoot in the most flattering light. The lenses I use create beautiful, blurry backgrounds that make my subjects pop! My style has taken years to perfect and has only been achieved through hours of practice. During my sessions, I strive to find creative and flattering angles. I focus primarily on connection and emotion. My clients love that I capture all the little details, especially with kids.

Fun and Comfortable Experience

One of the skills I am most proud of is my ability to help people feel comfortable and enjoy their session. Many people are nervous about getting their photos taken, especially if they’ve had a negative experience in the past. From the moment you get out of your car, my priority is making sure you know exactly what to expect. I give loads of encouragement and will show you my favorite shots on the back of my camera. I don’t end the session until we have gotten allllll of the shots.
