As a Utah maternity photographer, I feel so lucky to capture the most special moments at the end of pregnancy. I know how hard it can be to want to get ready and have pictures taken when you just feel like resting. My goal with maternity photos is to show you how beautiful you are, glowing with the love for you unborn baby. I cherish every photo from my own pregnancies and feel honored that I get to provide photos (and an enjoyable experience) for the sweetest moms.
Emma reached out to me about maternity photos and knew she wanted them in the mountains. We decided on Snowbasin. There’s a beautiful hidden spot off one of the overflow lots. However, I don’t shoot there often because it’s about a quarter mile walk from the parking lot. I was so excited that Emma and Clint were willing to make the trek. They started off their session in the most angelic, white clothing. I can’t help but feel so happy when I look at these images.
Near the end we decided to make a stop on Trapper’s Loop to get more views of the mountains. Here, Emma changed into a gorgeous floral dress. We had the most glowy, golden light and I love the vibe of these pictures. Bringing an outfit change for you photos is a great way to add versatility to your gallery. Plus, I have a really cool pop-up tent that is perfect for outfit changes.
I take my job as a Utah maternity photographer very seriously. The experience I strive for starts long before your session. I spend time creating an experienced tailored to your personality and relationship with your partner. I know posing is overwhelming as it is without something throwing off your center of gravity, which is why I have spent time studying posing and movement to create the most flattering and beautiful images.
If you’re pregnant and considering having maternity photos taken, I highly recommend it. I’d love to work with you! Let’s chat!
