Growing up in Ogden, I’ve spent a lot of my free time in the mountains. Utah mountain photos are usually my favorite. This family booked one of my Christmas Mini Sessions so that they could have a few shots for their Christmas card. We ended up getting tons of great shots and I’m so happy with how they turned out. It was freezing and a little rainy during this session but they were all champs. The kids were so sweet with each other.
I truly never get sick of taking Utah mountain photos. We are lucky to have so many amazing spots within just a few miles of the valley. Snowbasin Resort is one of my go-to spots for photos all year. We were lucky to schedule this session the week before the resort opened, so we didn’t have to fight for parking. Old Snowbasin road is a hidden gem that I frequent during the spring and summer months. Nothing beats the pine trees and rolling mountain backdrops. I’m always excited when my clients want to go up to the mountains.
I’m so excited for the weather to warm up so that I can take spend more time in my favorite mountain locations. If you’re interested in booking a session, you can reach out here.
