One of the best parts about being a Utah family photographer is getting to take photos for loved ones. My sister in law wanted updated fall photos so we decided to head to a nature park a few minutes from our house. This spot is a hidden gem and has the most beautiful glowy golden hour light. I had so much fun with this family! We started with some traditional, smiling photos on the grass and then headed up the hill to chase the sun.

As a Utah family photographer, my main goal is to capture those little moments of connection. Every family wants (and will get) a few smiling at the camera shots. I also make sure to take tons of candid photos. I am constantly shooting even when we’re moving to different spots. These two siblings have polar opposite personalities and it’s so fun to watch them interact.

During every family session, I make sure to get pictures of each parent with every child. These photos often end up being my favorite. I know as a parent how special it is to have candid photos with each of your children that you can look back on for years. I strive to deliver photos that remind you of the intense love that you have for your family.
