If you’re living in Utah this spring, you are probably incredibly sick of this eternal winter that we’ve been having. As a Utah senior photographer, April is the most busy month for senior photos. We had initially scheduled Kaitlyn’s session at the beginning of April. When we showed up to the location it was just starting to rain. Within 10 minutes the clouds got very dark and we were being pelted with heavy rain and strong winds. We shot for about 5 minutes before deciding to reschedule. I pushed the session out a couple weeks and picked a random Tuesday that we were both free. I was so excited to show up to the most beautiful 70 degree weather and stunning golden hour glow.
Kaitlyn is the sweetest girl with the most infectious laugh. She is excited to graduate and head out on an LDS mission in the fall. After that, she plans to attend nursing school. She’s got some big adventures ahead and I’m so thrilled for her!
I talk to a lot of seniors who say something along the lines of “I almost didn’t do senior photos but I’m so glad I did!” I know as you’re getting close to graduating you don’t want to have to think about one more thing. However, you are achieving something huge that is worth being documented. You should be proud of yourself!
